Chimney Restoration – Federal Way, WA
This project involved a full chimney restoration to bring the structure back to safe and efficient operation.
Our team began by removing the damaged crown and preparing the top for a new reinforced concrete one, ensuring proper slope and water runoff.
Next, we performed tuckpointing — carefully grinding out deteriorated mortar joints and replacing them with new high-strength mortar to restore the brickwork’s integrity and appearance.
We also installed a new stainless steel liner, improving the chimney’s safety, draft, and heat resistance, followed by a custom-fit stainless steel cap to prevent moisture, debris, and animals from entering the flue.
The result is a fully restored, weather-resistant chimney that not only performs reliably but also enhances the home’s curb appeal and long-term protection.
